We are using a thin veneer stone for the exterior façade of this home.
Thin veneer stone is a natural quarried stone that comes out of
the
quarry at full thickness, but has been cut down to a
2” thickness. When this stone is cut down, you can actually
produce two pieces of thin
stone for every one piece of full
thickness quarried stone. In taking a “green” approach,
we will use 50% less material on this project.
